Gratitude

G R A T I T U D E  means a lot to me. These past few years have been life changing, fun and really really hard in some parts. But through everything, I was (and am) so grateful for the life, opportunities and experiences I’ve had. It goes without saying (but I’ll gladly repeat myself 24/7) that I’m most thankful for my family and friends.

Family is hard and messy and not always what we have pictured in our heads or what’s plastered across social media or TV. But family (no matter if they’re blood or not) stands by you, lifts you up and always has your back through everything. My family is my rock. Even when I don’t always like them or when I need a break from them, I’m still so thankful that I have them.

My family definitely consists of my close friends and I even think of some friends I haven’t talked to in years as part of my family, because I know I can reach out to them and they’ll always respond back and in the real dark thick of things, I know they’ll be there for me. We’re just off living our different lives right now, but I’m confident that we’ll make it back to each other when the time is right. That’s why I always count friends as part of my family.

This year has been tougher than most and family has been more important than ever for me. I’ve leaned a lot on my friends and family as they have on me as well. Going forward into the new year, I know we’ll all be better for it and I’ll continue to always stay grateful for them, for life, and for the little things everyday that make me smile or laugh or stay strong and positive on this journey.

Lastly, I’m grateful for you all; for allowing me to share pieces of my life with you on social media and on this blog. It means the world to me that you have chosen to join along no matter in what capacity. I hope that I’ve brightened your day just once.

Always remember that you’re worthy of love!
